Ok, if you know me, that shouldn’t really surprise you. I pee outside a lot. What with all of the outdoor activities we do and sometimes just for plain convenience, I pee outside . . . a lot.
However, today was a little different. I didn’t have too much of a choice. I swept and mopped the hallway that goes into the other sections of The Barn. I did the whole hallway at once. Not long after that, I realized why I don’t normally do it all at once. Both bathrooms were blocked by a wet floor. Sigh.
There was no way I was tracking across my wet floor. I’ve been working hard to get things swept and mopped. I knew someone would walk across it eventually. But, it wasn’t going to be me. Nope. Not happening.
So . . . I went outside and peed in the front yard. It’s a good thing we live on the edge of nowhere and you can’t see The Barn from the road!
Now I’m sitting here confused as to what to do next. The wet floor is blocking off most of the house. The living room is full of 10 dining room chairs because I pulled them out to sweep and mop half of the breakfast nook. Once it’s dry, I’ll do the other half. Then, I’ll wipe down all 10 chairs and put everything back.
Now what? Maybe I’ll sit down for a few minutes, cool off and cut some yarn for the fringe I need to make to finish a project?
